Western countries are constantly considering bitcoin and natural gas as a payment method for their exports. Putin said in 2021 that although he thought bitcoin was valuable, he was not sure that it could replace the US dollar for the settlement of oil transactions. But now, he changed his mouth. Russia is considering bitcoin as a means of payment for energy export trade.
